This photo was taken in November 2017 and it was the first time I had seen Prince Charles in person. Unknown to me, HRH headed for Taiping by car immediately after the Penang event to visit the Commonwealth War Cemetery. If I had known, I would have followed his convoy to Taiping to take some photos at that historical spot. That was surely a wasted opportunity. In this pic, Prince Charles was waving to me since I was the only photographer at that spot because as soon as the other photographers saw the Prince of Wales leaving the mosque, they dashed across the road to the mosque's entrance but were stopped by at least 6 bodyguards. I was lucky I decided to remain at my predetermined spot so that I could get that special royal wave directed solely at me Smile
