Many informative items are being displayed in this museum. One of them is the ancient charcoal iron. This charcoal iron is in the shape of a scoop with a handle - it looks like those soup scoops used by present-day hawkers. Burning charcoal were filled in the scoop for smoothing wrinkles during the time before those vintage charcoal irons with removable tops. Chinese were the first ones to apply heat for pressing cloth.

Another interesting item that caught my immediate attention is a tusk. This tusk which is engraved with many many dragons is kept in a special glass show-case and it is being displayed at the centre of the exhibition hall. The engravings on the tusk are detailed and those dragons look very much "alive". This tusk was a gift for Almarhum Tuanku Sultan Idris Shah II of Perak.
