Kayes,I have spent many informative hours in this museum.Whenever my late wife and I use to visit Taiping I always paid a visit to see what new displays they had.A very interesting place Taiping,at least I have always found it to be so.

I love the architecture of the Taiping Museum. I have been there a number of times and always found it worth the while. They have an interesting library there. Used to be open to the public. Wonder whether it still is.

i loved the museum too, i spent many a happy hour wandering around looking at the various exhibitions and displays and some of the oldest books on the Malayan
History.

The Museum is closed to the public till next June 2009 for upgrading.

hi Susan, I found that out a fortnight ago when I passed by and saw a lot of scaffolding and part of the entrance was cordoned off. Hope they give it a good rejuvenation.
