Wonder if anyone notices there is an old wooden beautifully designed house just next to Ubadiah Mosque. That lovely house (I believe it was built without any nail or screws) is left abandoned and is in dilapidated condition. It is indeed very sad to see such a beauty being neglected. I was told it belonged to the family of Ustaz Raja Haji Amir and his two daughters are currently residing in KL.

Baitul Anor is the name of the vintage house that is next to Ubadiah Mosque, Bukit Chandan. It was built by YAM Raja Kecil Sulong Raja Harun al-Rashid in 1912 for his wife YM Raja Mentera Raja Sir Chulan. Baitul Anor is named after their eldest son, Raja Anor.
One of the present owners of Baitul Anor is YM Raja Rashidah, daughter of Ustaz Raja Haji Amir.

Incidentally, Ustaz Raja Haji Amir's mother-in-law, Che Maheran, lived nearby in a house (now demolished) which was identical to Baitul Anor.
