I am told the new Kuala Kangsar's railway station is modern, has a large waiting lounge and with elevators. Can't wait to visit this beauty!

hi Orange, thanks for the info on the new railway station in Kuala Kangsar. In the 50s and 60s, I saw a lot of the KK railway station because I travelled often by train from Ipoh to KK and Taiping to visit friends and relatives. I used to have a friend who lived opposite the KK railway station. His name is Raja Abu Bakar and I wonder where he is now. He comes from a family of body builders. Each time I went to the house everyone seemed to be carrying weights

Hi Kayes,
It seems to me you know many people from the palace. I notice all royalties are very close-knit and even they don't reside in K.K. but they still go back regularly.
Many say the old railway station has character but as for me, comfort is very important too!
