hello Susan, thank you for looking I am very pleased you enjoy my pics. No other place I know offers the kind of peace and tranquility that the Lake Garden has. Each trip to Taiping, I must take a walk through that beautiful garden, no matter what time of day.

May I ask. If I wanted to stay in a hotel that is near the Lake Garden and also near the town area. Which one should I be considering. Thks.

The Furama is a nice place. Fringing the Lake Garden and close to town.

Thanks Kayes... I visited Taiping a few yrs back. That was when the whole country was facing a drought. Passed the Lake, enroute to Bukit Larut, and the water level was so low that you can see the soil. Planning to go after CNY, next year. Hope to catch the lake in its splendour and hopefully get a chance to walk up Bukit Larut. Thks again.
