In the 50s, the river was still swimmable. I had an uncle who lived in KK and he had a boat. He took us a few times to the part near the Iskandar Bridge to swim close to a sandbank. I remember the water there was clear and I could feel fishes brushing past me in the water. Now the Sungei Perak looks like Yellow River Sad

Despite the colour of the "Hwang Ho", those reflections on the river are clearly and interestingly captured. Love the lovely sky, blue hills and the green tress. They look spectacular. The bridge seem so far away and yet it is beautifully shown.

The two gazebos with complementary colour on the pier look very inviting!

Everything in this pic. looks beautiful except the "Hwang Ho". Let's us "Sayangi Sungei Kita!!"

The jetty shown in this pic looks like an expansion of the old jetty where the late Sultan Idris used to park his cabin cruiser. Every time I passed that area I would take a good look at the pretty sight of a modern boat berthed beside a rustic river.
